I sit out here a lot and stare at this very spectacle you see in the picture. The stairs just go up the hill, presumably to some fairyland. Lots of bugs in these hedges, and a spider has built a web directly across the stairway, so I don't go up there because I'm too afraid. Today was a lousy day, but at least the weather, as usual, was sunny and warm.

The Backyard
